Young people and working adults want practical health-related skills. Hospitals, care facilities and employers need staff who understand patient care, safety, basic life support and service standards. BantuMed Health Institute exists to bring the two together.
The name carries the meaning of people and community. Our training is built on the same idea: competent, ethical support staff who lift the standard of care in homes, clinics and workplaces across Namibia.
About the institute
A structured approach, with learner records, moderated assessment and learner support.
Structured classroom teaching, supported by a learning management system for materials, attendance and submissions.
Demonstration and repeated hands-on practice of each skill before it is assessed.
Theory and practical assessments are moderated, filed and reviewed, so every certificate stands behind real skill.
Training built around the situations learners will meet in homes, clinics, care facilities and workplaces.
Three certificate programmes, from a three-day First Aid course to a one-year care programme.

Recognising cardiac arrest, high-quality CPR, using an AED and relieving choking, for health and care workers and members of the public.

Emergency first aid for workplaces, homes and communities: scene safety, bleeding, burns, fractures and medical emergencies.

Compassionate, dignified care for people living with life-limiting illness or disability, at home, in care facilities and in the community.
Register your interest and we will contact you with programme information and updates on our registration.
